Our Mission
The Verwer Hession Trust was established to keep the memory of two beloved Christian authors alive and to ensure that their publications will continue to be available to the general public.
How do we do that?
We make sure that sermons are available for free
We print copies of books and distribute them for free
We steward the legacies
of Roy Hession and
George Verwer's literature
We rely on donations to keep going
Both Roy Hession are George Verwer were deeply humble men who rejected material wealth for a life of service. When they set up this Trust, they could only provide a modest sum to support it. All donations go directly towards our mission.

Before he passed,
Roy Hession asked for some of his money to be used to set up a charitable Trust to be created in his name
It was given the task of continuing to spread his message and make sure that his work was always available and acting as stewards of his legacy.
George Verwer requested that his intellectual property, his literature and books be handed over to the trust
George had immense respect for Roy, and felt that both their goals could be served in a shared trust.

Since the merging of the trusts, we have continued to faithfully serve the Christian missions of Roy and George, striving to uphold their legacy to the next generation.
